About Vula Training

Our main objective is to run peer education programmes, trainings and workshops to build confidence, capacity, creativity, life- and leadership skills for youth in highschool and tertiary institutions in rural and less advantaged communities through the use of performing arts namely drama, dance and music, as well as creating safe spaces and facilitating constructive and creative dialogue amongst the youth.

About Vula Training

The focus on life-skills topics is amongst others: sexual and reproductive health and rights, gender-based violence, peer pressure, HIV/AIDS, TB, addressing issues of racism, sexism and xenophobia, as well as environmental education promoting science related to climate change. The company uses performing arts, promoting indigenous culture and heritage to bring the topics above alive and ensure the youth connect with the issue on a personal level.

About Vula Training

Our concept is to work as a Social Enterprise. Creating income through our “Vula Training & Development” programme. This aims to raise more than half, if not all of the funds needed for our Vula Youth Development work by providing workshops, training and facilitation to corporate, government, non-profit, as well as secondary and tertiary education institutions.

Vula Training uses performing arts, promoting indigenous culture and heritage to bring our topics alive and ensure the youth connect with the issue on a personal level.
